Welcome to the Dhanbad Cricket Association (DCA), where passion meets precision on the cricket field. Established in 1978, DCA is dedicated to nurturing and promoting cricket across the Dhanbad district. With a strong commitment to grassroots development, the association strives to make Dhanbad a premier cricketing hub in India, ensuring that the love for cricket reaches every corner of the community.

The organization has a rich history shaped by influential founders, including Mr. Arnold Mathues, Mr. G. Prasad from Tata Collieries, and several dedicated sports officers and enthusiasts. Over the years, DCA has expanded its horizons, hosting a remarkable 33 Board (BCCI) matches in 2013-2014 and now proudly supports over 175 registered teams, including schools and clubs.

DCA is not just about the game but also about the people. The welfare and safety of players and officials are paramount, especially in challenging times like the recent COVID-19 pandemic. Activities were paused to prioritize health, highlighting the association's commitment to its community. As cricket activities gradually resume, everyone is encouraged to stay vigilant and follow safety protocols.
