The instructors are highly knowledgeable and experienced, and the club provides a supportive and welcoming environment for beginners and experienced divers alike. Additionally, the club offers a range of training courses and skill development courses, ensuring that divers can continue to improve their abilities and expand their underwater knowledge. DSAC also has a range of facilities to support its members, including a clubhouse with lecture rooms, audiovisual equipment, and a social area with a bar.
They also have their own compressor to provide Nitrox gas, an equipment store, and a club boat. For those new to scuba diving, DSAC offers a full BSAC Diver Training Programme, which includes theory, pool sessions, and open water skills. Diving skills are taught progressively, allowing divers to build upon their knowledge and experiences step by step. PADI qualified divers can easily dive with DSAC and joining the club is a great way to maintain and develop their skills.
The club offers try-dive sessions on Wednesday evenings at Hall Cross School in Doncaster, providing the pool, equipment, and lots of fun for just 25. While new divers must be at least 14 years old (accompanied by an adult if under 16) to train, anyone aged 10 and above is welcome to try diving.
