About
Down Grange Youth Football Club (DGFC), located in Basingstoke, has been a cornerstone of grassroots football since 1992. For over 30 years, DGFC has been committed to offering kids a safe and enjoyable place to play football, backing the FA Respect programme to ensure everyone upholds respect and fair play.
Run by a dedicated team of volunteers, all coaches at DGFC are trained to at least FA level 1. With additional training in emergency first aid and DBS checks, the club ensures the safety and well-being of all players.
Paul, the club organiser, is always welcoming new volunteers—whether as team coaches or in other supportive roles on matchdays. If you're interested, reach out through the club's website or their Facebook page (@DownGrangeFC).
For parents and children eager to join, DGFC offers a straightforward website and Facebook page to help connect with the right contacts. They host player trials for age groups from U7s to U14s, including dedicated teams for girls' football, fostering talent and progression in the sport.
DGFC isn’t just about football skills; it’s about building a community. Their website and social media are regularly updated with news on player trials, season updates, and upcoming events.
Proudly supported by MyClubPro, DGFC is also open to sponsorships from those who wish to support youth football in Basingstoke. For more info about teams and contact details, visit the DGFC website or get in touch via their email.
