Do Yoga Truro is a welcoming yoga studio located in Truro, New Zealand. The studio is inspired by the Hatha Yoga tradition, with an Anusara influence. The studio believes that there is no single definition of yoga and encourages individuals to define it for themselves.

For those who are new to yoga or unsure about trying a class, Do Yoga Truro offers a simple suggestion – just give it a try. The studio believes that by experiencing a class firsthand, individuals can form their own opinion based on their own experience. If one class doesn't feel right, they encourage individuals to try another. The studio emphasises that nothing in their classes is compulsory and participants are free to take from the class what they want or need.

The studio offers a variety of classes to cater to different preferences and needs. The Trelander classes are held at the Trelander Community Centre, conveniently located just off St. Clements hill with easy parking. The Monday evening class from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM is slightly faster paced than the Wednesday morning class from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM.

The Monday class has a roughly equal split of male and female participants, with one male participant describing it as “a good class for men who think they can't do yoga. ” The Wednesday class is known for its warm-hearted and welcoming atmosphere, with participants always willing to stop and have a chat and provide support.

Starting from January 13th, Do Yoga Truro will also be offering classes at the Threemilestone Community Centre. The Thursday class at 10:30 AM is gentle in nature, with a focus on poses done lying on the floor and sitting on and using chairs. Additionally, the studio offers a community class that consists of gentle chair-based exercises. This class takes place on Mondays at the Trelander Community Hall from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

The prices for the classes are as follows: Monday class at Trelander and Wednesday class at Trelander cost 7. 50 GBP each. The Chair Yoga class costs 6. 50 GBP.

For those looking for flexibility, there is also a Five Class Pass available for 28 GBP.
