Welcome to Drummond Estates Boat Hire, located at Ardveich Bay in the heart of Perthshire, Loch Earn. Loch Earn is known for its large brown trout, some weighing up to 10lb. It's not uncommon to catch 30 or more fish in a single outing, mostly brown trout but also the occasional escapee rainbow trout. At Drummond Estates Boat Hire, we offer a range of services to enhance your Highland trip.

We provide Fishing Permits, allowing you to fish for brown trout, rainbow trout, and char from the shores of Loch Earn or from one of our boats. Daily and weekly permits can be purchased from our four outlets, including Drummond Estate Boat Hire and local stores. We also offer Associate Membership Season Tickets for more frequent anglers, which can be obtained from Loch Earn Fishings.

For those who want to venture out onto the water, we have fishing boat hire available from 9am until 6pm during the fishing season (March 15th to October 6th). Our boats are 15' in length and come equipped with 4 hp longshaft engines. Lifejackets are provided and mandatory for your safety. Please note that the hire charges are for the boat only, and you will need a valid fishing permit if using the boat for fishing.

At our on-site store, you can find a range of fishing tackle, including rods for sale or hire, bait, and daily/weekly fishing permits. We also have a hot drinks machine and seasoned firewood logs available for purchase. Additionally, we offer moorings, boat storage, and slipway facilities for convenience.
