Dr Vibeke Murphy, the founder and lead practitioner, brings over 20 years of hands-on chiropractic experience to the table. She holds a degree in Anatomy and Physiology, as well as a Masters in Chiropractic. In addition to her chiropractic expertise, Dr Vibeke is also a certified yoga instructor, further enhancing her ability to provide holistic care to her clients.
Dr Vibeke believes in the power of exercise, mindfulness, and good nutrition to support overall health. She is dedicated to empowering her clients to make small, consistent positive changes in their lifestyles that yield long-lasting health benefits. She takes the time to truly listen to her clients and understand their individual goals, tailoring her treatment plans accordingly.
One of Dr Vibeke's special interests is addressing postural concerns, whether they stem from poor workplace ergonomics, fatigue from working-from-home zoom meetings, or the changes that come with pregnancy. She is committed to supporting people in optimising their overall health at every stage of life.
In addition to chiropractic techniques, Dr Vibeke incorporates remedial massage, dry needling, sacro-occipital techniques, and yoga into her treatment approach. With over 18 years of experience teaching Anatomy and Physiology to yoga instructor students, she also offers dynamic and interactive classes. Her aim is to make learning the basics of A and P enjoyable, inspiring her students to become confident, safe, and knowledgeable yoga instructors themselves.
Outside of her professional life, Dr Vibeke is a devoted mother to her two school-aged children, balancing their school and sports activities with her own active and healthy lifestyle. She enjoys weight training, vedic meditation, yoga, pilates, running, walking, swimming, and embracing any physical challenge that comes her way.
