Pleased to be able to share my passion for dance with students of all ages and abilities.

Louise Aldred I grew up in a dance-filled household, with my mother Joan Duesbury teaching me the art of dance from a young age. I have always had a love for Ballroom, Latin American, and Sequence dancing. After marrying Robert, we decided to join forces and create the Duesbury Aldred Dance Centre. I am a certified dance teacher with qualifications from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) and International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA).

At the Duesbury Aldred Dance Centre, we strongly believe that dance is for everyone. We welcome beginners who have never taken a step before, individuals who think they have two left feet, and those who simply want to have a go. Our fully qualified teachers have years of experience working with dancers of all ages and abilities, ensuring that each student receives personalised attention and instruction.

We offer a variety of classes, individual tuition, and short introductory courses to cater to different learning preferences and schedules. Whether you're looking for gentle exercise or a full body workout, dance can help enhance your balance, poise, spatial awareness, muscle tone, and flexibility. Numerous studies have shown that dance also releases endorphins, the body's “happy pills,” and can contribute to the prevention of Alzheimer's disease by providing mental stimulation and mind-body coordination.

If you're already a dancer and want to improve your technique or explore different styles, we have individual instruction available during the daytime, evenings, and weekends. Our aim is to help you reach your dance goals and provide ongoing support and guidance.

We are proud to have students from our school regularly participate in competitions. Many of them initially joined to learn how to dance but have surprised themselves with their progress. From social competitions, perfect for beginners, to national events that offer a more challenging experience, we support and organise a range of events throughout the year.

Our dance studio is spacious, fully air-conditioned, and designed specifically for dancing. Located conveniently close to Stapleford town centre, we provide free on-site parking for our students. Our studio is easily accessible from the A52 and M1 Motorway (Junction 25), and is situated on a bus route. The Toton Lane Tram Terminus is just a mile away, making it easy for students to reach us.
