The Dvelopp Academy of Dance is committed to developing the potential of every student and helping them unfold their future as dancers. The name “Dvelopp” comes from the classical ballet term that translates to “developing movement” or “to develop or unfold. ” This philosophy is at the core of the academy, where students are nurtured within a safe and caring environment.
The academy offers classes in classical ballet following the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) graded and vocational syllabi. These classes ensure that students receive world-class dance training and have the opportunity to work towards RAD examinations. Alongside ballet, the academy also offers non-syllabus Jazz classes to provide a diverse and well-rounded dance education.
The ethos of Dvelopp Academy of Dance can be summed up in the statement, “Inspiring achievements through creative artistry with care as to nourish and nurture is to flourish and further. ” The academy values each student as an individual and is inclusive of any needs or differences. Equality, respect, and fairness are upheld at all times, creating a positive learning experience for all.

Principal Louise Fairweather-Chapman is a registered teacher with the RAD and holds extensive qualifications in classical ballet, modern theatre dance, and national dance. With her expertise and passion for teaching, she creates a supportive and inspiring learning environment for all students.
Dvelopp Academy of Dance is located in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, and offers classes at the Coleridge Community College Auditorium/Dance Studio. Free car parking is available at all studio locations.
