Welcome to Dysart School of Dance Ltd, a leading dance school located in Nantwich, Cheshire. At Dysart School of Dance, our mission is to provide a nurturing and inclusive environment where students can enjoy dance, create rhythm, make friends, and stimulate their bodies and minds while improving technique and posture.
The school is led by Kim Bostock (ne Jones), who began her dance journey at the young age of four in Macclesfield. She trained at Jean Patterson's and later at Rawle School of Dance before furthering her studies at Laine Theatre Arts in Surrey, where she obtained a diploma in Dance and LAMDA drama. Kim is an Associate member of the ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) and holds the ISTD Diploma in Dance Education for Imperial Ballet, National, Tap, and Modern Theatre. She is also an associate of the IDTA (International Dance Teachers Association).
Kim is enhanced DBS checked, holds a chaperone licence for children in theatre (Cheshire East), and is trained in first aid.
In January 1997, Kim took over the Dysart School of Dance and has since grown the school to over 200 pupils. Many of her students have successfully pursued careers in dance, attending full-time vocational dance colleges and universities before entering the professional dance industry.
Joining Kim at Dysart School of Dance is Antonia-Hayley Bennett, an experienced dancer who teaches street dance classes every Monday evening. Antonia is first aid trained and has an enhanced DBS check. Additionally, Jade Parker, a former Dysart pupil and Cheshire East Chaperone for children in entertainment, teaches contemporary classes every Friday evening since September 2021.
Dysart School of Dance offers classes at two locations in Nantwich. One location is the Guy Harvey Youth Club on Birchin Lane, and the other is St. Mary's Church Hall on Church Lane. Both venues provide excellent facilities for our students.
To ensure the safety of our students, we have conducted a comprehensive risk assessment, which can be downloaded from our website. We also send out regular newsletters to keep our students and their parents updated on the latest news and events at the school.
If you have any inquiries or would like more information about our classes, please don't hesitate to contact us. Kim Bostock can be reached via mobile at 07976 957466 or by email at dysartschoolofdance@gmail. Com. We look forward to welcoming you to Dysart School of Dance, where we believe that dance is not just an art form but a way of life.
