Eagles Park, located on Swynnerton Road in Eccleshall, Staffordshire, is the permanent home of Eccleshall Eagles Junior Football Club. The ground boasts three full-sized pitches, as well as junior and mini soccer pitches, making it one of the best facilities in Staffordshire for junior football.
The brand new clubhouse at Eagles Park offers a welcoming environment for spectators, with an entrance room that provides great views of the nearest two pitches. For those in need of shelter and warmth, this room offers the perfect spot to enjoy the game. Additionally, there is a small kitchen that serves teas and coffees on game days.
Players and officials are well catered for at Eagles Park, with two spacious changing rooms equipped with showers and toilets. Additionally, there are separate changing rooms for referees. The pitches themselves are well-maintained and provide an excellent playing surface for our teams.
Eagles Park is the result of a collaboration between Eccleshall Eagles Junior Football Club and Staffordshire County Council. In 2013, the club secured funding from the Football Foundation, with a commitment of 448,967 towards the project cost. The leading League, The FA, and the Government also provided funding, making the Foundation's contribution possible. This support allowed Eccleshall Eagles to finally have a home of their own, addressing the shortage of pitches in the local area.
The club's commitment to player development and community spirit is evident in their plans for the future. They are focused on expanding their girls section and further enhancing coaching and player development opportunities. The goal is to provide a quality, safe, and positive environment for young people in the Eccleshall area to play football and enjoy the benefits of regular exercise.
Eccleshall Eagles Junior Football Club is proud to be an FA Charter Standard Club, affiliated with the Staffordshire FA. With teams ranging from Under 7 to Under 16, they welcome boys and girls of all abilities to join and be a part of the Eagles Park community.
