Sensei Jason has an impressive background in the world of karate, having trained and graded in various styles since 1984. With an initial training in Goju Ryu under Sensei Kim Roberts, he later expanded his skills by training in Shotokan as well. Achieving the rank of Shodan in Shotokan, he ultimately returned to Goju Ryu in 2003, reaching the ranks of Nidan, Sandan, and Yondan. It is also worth mentioning that in 2019, Sensei Jason successfully graded to Godan in Okinawa at the IOGKF 40th Anniversary Gishiki.
