Ebz Dance is a renowned dance school located in Mildura, Australia. Established in 2010 by Ebony, the school has experienced significant growth and success over the years.
The journey of Ebz Dance began when Club Dance closed its doors, leaving a group of enthusiastic dancers without a place to continue pursuing their passion. Ebony, along with Rebecca Davy and a few other students, decided to create a new dance school. Initially starting with tap and jazz classes, the school held its first combined concert at the Mildura Settlers Club, with 19 students in attendance.
The following year, Ebz Dance saw an exponential increase in popularity, expanding to 45 students and organising their end-of-year concert at the Sacred Heart Hall. The school's success continued to soar and by the following year, a staggering 150 students were enrolled. Two sell-out performances were held at the Mercy Theatre, marking a significant milestone for the school.
In 2013, Ebz Dance introduced hip-hop classes, further enriching their diverse curriculum. This year also saw the inauguration of the brand new Mildura Arts Centre, where the school held three performances. Ebz Dance enjoyed continuous growth, eventually reaching a remarkable size of over 300 students.
Throughout its journey, Ebz Dance has amassed a multitude of achievements. These include upgrading the studio facilities, captivating performances at local events, participating in prestigious competitions such as the Eisteddfod, and engaging in workshops with professional dancers. The school's dedication to excellence and commitment to nurturing its students' talent has been evident every step of the way.
Currently, Ebz Dance offers an extensive range of dance styles, including tap, jazz, hip-hop, classical, contemporary, and even pointe. Students can immerse themselves in various dance forms, honing their skills and exploring their artistic expression.
