Echuca Moama Athletics Centre

Welcome to the Echuca Moama Athletics Centre! Located in Moama, New South Wales, our athletics centre offers a range of opportunities for athletes of all ages and abilities to participate in track and field events. Whether you're a little athlete or a senior athlete, we have something for everyone.

Our mission is to provide a fun and inclusive environment for athletes to develop their skills, build self-confidence, and foster a love for athletics. We are dedicated to helping our athletes achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

In addition to our popular little athletics programme, we are excited to introduce a senior athletics competition this season. This is a fantastic opportunity for senior athletes to engage in running, jumping, and throwing events, whether for social fun, competition, or pre-season fitness. The senior athletics competition will take place on Friday nights following our little athletics competition.

To ensure a smooth start to the season, we have scheduled information sessions, registration patch pick-up, and uniform purchases on Monday, October 2, and Thursday, October 5 at Jack Eddy Oval. These sessions will provide all the necessary information for registration and season details, as well as an opportunity to collect registration ID patches and purchase uniforms. We highly recommend attending these sessions to ensure a seamless start to the season.

The first little athletics meet for the season and our come and try day will take place on Friday, October 6, at Jack Eddy Oval. All athletes must be registered via the LAVic website as either a financial member or a trial athlete to participate in the meet. This meet is not only open to registered members but also serves as an opportunity for new athletes with trial registrations to experience our athletics meets in full swing.

Membership costs for little athletics are $150 per member, with a 15% discount for two athletes and a 20% discount for three or more athletes. Membership is valid for 12 months and covers both the summer track and field season and the winter cross country season. For senior athletics, there is a $10 annual fee to Masters Australia for Masters (30+) membership, in addition to the $150 season club membership. Associate memberships are available for those under 30 years old.

Casual fees of $20 per meet are also available for those who wish to participate occasionally without committing to the full season.

Our athletes love being a part of Echuca Moama Athletics Centre because it allows them to engage in athletics with their friends, challenge themselves to beat personal bests, and experience the thrill of competition. We are proud to offer a supportive and enjoyable athletics experience for all our members.

Fun fact: Did you know that the number 58 in our logo represents the fact that we were the 58th athletics centre in Victoria to be established? We have been proudly serving our community since 1976.
