Join Edinburgh Jitsu and explore the world of martial arts and jiu-jitsu with introductory sessions perfect for newcomers. Ben Reynolds and the team have designed these sessions for those who want to try out Edinburgh Jitsu before committing to regular training. You'll learn basic techniques, familiarise yourself with the training environment, and meet the friendly instructors and members.
Signing up is easy. There are no prerequisites or previous experience required, and anyone aged 18 and above is welcome, regardless of fitness level. Whether you're a complete beginner or have some martial arts experience, Edinburgh Jitsu is open to everyone.
To join an introductory session, visit our website or reach out via social media. A short registration form needs to be completed before your first session to ensure everyone's safety and well-being.
Ready to become a regular member after the introductory sessions? Edinburgh Jitsu offers flexible membership options, allowing you to train as frequently or infrequently as your schedule permits. We understand the demands of full-time jobs and family responsibilities, so we strive to accommodate everyone.
Edinburgh Jitsu values a supportive and inclusive environment. The club emphasises camaraderie, teamwork, mutual respect, discipline, and physical fitness. Our experienced instructors, Ben Reynolds, Gunnar Droege, and Neil McKenzie, are passionate about teaching and sharing their knowledge. Besides regular training, we also organise social events and outings to help members build lasting friendships and strengthen the community.
