Originally designed in 1895 by renowned golf course architect Bob Simpson, Edzell Golf Club has a rich history and is steeped in tradition. In 1933/34, the course underwent a significant redesign based on recommendations by the legendary James Braid, further enhancing its playability and appeal.
In 2015, Martin Ebert of Mackenzie & Ebert undertook a sympathetic upgrade, breathing new life into the course and ensuring that it remains a challenging and enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels. The result is a truly exceptional 18-hole course spanning 128 acres, complete with meticulously manicured fairways, undulating greens, and strategically placed hazards that will put your golfing skills to the test.
