The surroundings of Elton Barn Fishery & Retreat are truly stunning. The lake, with its crystal-clear water, is a haven for fishing enthusiasts. With carp weighing up to 30 lbs, as well as chubb and roach, there is plenty to keep anglers entertained. The lake is approximately 1 acre in size and features two small islands in the middle, offering different fishing spots to suit every angler's preference.

For those who prefer traditional camping, Elton Barn offers tent camping facilities. The campsite is nestled amongst the beautiful trees and wildlife, providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere. There are approximately 12 pegs available around the lake, ensuring that each camper has ample space and privacy.

Toilet and shower facilities are provided for all campers, ensuring a comfortable stay. The block is private and includes electric showers, ensuring that there is no shortage of hot water. A pot wash area is also available, allowing campers to clean their cooking utensils, recharge their lanterns and torches, and even charge their mobile devices. In addition, a shared fridge is available for campers to store perishable food items, and a cold water tap is provided for all water requirements.

The owners, Michael, Tanya, and Ryley, are committed to protecting the natural habitat and wildlife that call Elton Barn home. The property is home to resident badgers, rabbits, grouse, pheasants, wild ducks, and cranes, to name a few. Guests can observe and appreciate the beauty of nature surrounding them, with the highlight being Mr.

And Mrs. Darcey, the Canadian geese who return every year to raise their young.
