Dance is dedicated to maintaining the highest level of integrity in all aspects of its operations. Our staff consists of highly qualified and experienced dance instructors who are passionate about teaching and inspiring students. They have undergone extensive training and are registered teachers of the Royal Academy of Dance and the International Dance Teachers Association. Our instructors are committed to providing quality dance education while ensuring the safety and well-being of our students.
Elvet School of Dance offers a wide range of dance classes for students aged 3 and above. We specialise in Royal Academy of Dance syllabus ballet, IDTA tap, and modern jazz. Whether you are an aspiring dancer or simply looking for a fun and engaging fitness activity, we have something for everyone. We offer regular dance classes during school term time, as well as private lessons for those looking to take their skills to the next level.
Our dance school is conveniently located at New College Durham, with additional venues in Langley Moor, Meadowfield, and Sedgefield. We have a state-of-the-art dance studio equipped with professional dance flooring and mirrors to provide the best learning environment for our students.
At Elvet School of Dance, we believe in recognising and celebrating our students' achievements. We hold a dance show every two years, where parents and relatives are invited to watch students perform in full costume a variety of performances. This is an opportunity for our students to showcase their skills and hard work.
