Equita Ranch is a horse riding facility located in Cantley, just 20 minutes from Ottawa. The ranch offers a peaceful natural environment close to the city, allowing visitors to enjoy the beauty of the countryside while being just minutes away from the region's top attractions.

At Equita Ranch, visitors can enjoy a variety of services, including nature trail rides for individuals and groups. Prices for these rides range from $69 for a one-hour ride to $125 for a two-hour ride. Reservations are required, and a mandatory 20-minute introductory lesson is provided for inexperienced riders.

For those looking for a more exclusive experience, the ranch offers VIP expert or private trail rides at $125 for one hour or $195 for two hours. Inexperienced riders must take a mandatory $29 introductory lesson. The ranch constantly develops new trails on its 100 acres of land to provide fun and entertaining experiences for riders.

Families can also participate in guided rides suitable for both adults and children under 12, or opt for pony rides for children aged 3 to 7. These rides are priced at $59 for a 30-minute session and offer a chance for children to learn to ride while exploring their surroundings and having fun.

Equita Ranch also offers a range of programs, including the Equita program for children, adults, or families. This program includes various types of riding styles, such as classic, Western, bareback, and vaulting, catering to individual preferences and interests in the equestrian world.

For young riders aged 5 to 11, the ranch offers the Petit Trot program to teach the basics of classic or Western riding. Older riders aged 12 and above can enrol in the Cavalier program, which offers different levels of private lessons to develop riding skills.

In addition to regular programs, Equita Ranch also hosts summer day camps for children aged 6 to 14, providing a full day of horse care, grooming, riding lessons, and farm animal interaction. Campers will have the opportunity to showcase their skills in a performance for their parents at the end of the week.

For special occasions, Equita Ranch offers children's birthday party packages, which include pony rides, meals, activities, and guided tours of the ranch. The ranch also provides equestrian boarding options, with outdoor boarding priced at $650 per month and half-board options available for weekly riders.
