

ESKA Karate at Easton College is Norwich's top karate club, offering traditional Shotokan Karate instruction to students of all ages and abilities. Headed by Chief Instructor Jason Hitchings, a highly experienced 6th Dan, ESKA is committed to providing the highest standard of karate training in a safe and supportive environment.
Founded in 1995, ESKA has seen over 6000 members begin their karate journey with the club. The focus at ESKA is on nurturing potential and helping every member achieve success both in karate and everyday life. Through their structured class system, syllabus, and examination programme, students develop essential life skills such as perseverance, self-discipline, and confidence. Many of ESKA's students have not only earned their Black Belt, but also gone on to achieve success in National, European, and International Championships.
ESKA's beginners course is designed to provide a solid foundation in karate for newcomers. Students will learn valuable skills such as balance, focus, coordination, and self-confidence. Martial arts training is proven to improve both physical and mental health, and ESKA's training methods help students develop their memory and perseverance. The club offers a complete full-body workout, helping students improve their overall health and fitness.
