At Estuary Escapes, they offer both half and full-day fishing escapes in the Darwin region. Whether you're a seasoned angler or new to fishing, they provide day escapes and extended fishing escapes throughout the year, specifically targeting Barramundi and other tropical estuary species.
With a team of experienced and knowledgeable guides, you'll have the opportunity to explore the pristine waters of Rapid Creek and its surrounding areas. They will share their expertise, ensuring an unforgettable fishing experience for everyone on board.
To guarantee your reservation, a 30% deposit of the total booking cost is required. Final payment is due 30 days prior to the tour for day escapes and 90 days prior for extended escapes. If your booking is less than 30 days away for a day tour or less than 90 days away for an extended tour, full payment is required at the time of booking.
For cancellations, Estuary Escapes has a clear policy in place. All cancellations must be made in writing. For day tour bookings, cancellations made outside 30 days incur a 30% charge of the total booking cost. Cancellations made between 30 and 15 days incur a 75% charge, while cancellations made inside 14 days incur a 100% charge.
Extended tour bookings follow a similar structure, with cancellations outside 90 days incurring a 30% charge, cancellations between 90 and 30 days incurring a 75% charge, and cancellations inside 30 days incurring a 100% charge.
Estuary Escapes strongly recommends that all customers take out travel insurance for their trips, especially for extended fishing tours or charters. While rare, in the event of trip cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances or weather-related issues, travel insurance will provide coverage for both Estuary Escapes and the customers.
In the event that a trip is cancelled due to weather-related circumstances, Estuary Escapes cannot accept responsibility for any financial consequences, such as lost trip costs, airfares, or lost holiday time. They make every effort to conduct all trips on time and according to the proposed itinerary, but safety is a priority. If a tropical cyclone warning or strong wind warning is issued by the Bureau of Meteorology, or if wind speeds exceed safe operating limits specified by the Australian Maritime Safety Authority, fishing trips will not take place.
