The Junior Sail Program at the Etobicoke Yacht Club offers a comprehensive sailing experience for youth between the ages of 7 to 17. The program is dedicated to promoting the sport of sailing and providing a safe and fun environment for young sailors to learn and develop their skills. The program is run by nationally certified and insured coaches who are passionate about sailing and dedicated to sharing their knowledge with the participants.
Located in the beautiful and sheltered Humber Bay, the program operates from a dedicated sail training facility within the Etobicoke Yacht Club grounds. The program offers a range of CANSail sailing courses for all skill levels, from absolute beginners to more experienced sailors looking to enhance their racing skills. In addition to the standard courses, the program also offers race teams for Opti and Laser classes for the more adventurous junior sailors.
Registration for the program is open, and spaces are limited, so interested participants are encouraged to register early to secure their spot. If a preferred program is full, a waitlist option is available, and additional spaces may become available. The program aims to provide a positive and enriching experience for all participants and is committed to continually improving and evolving to meet the needs and expectations of the sailing community.
