Evie Carter Golf is a prominent golf instructor located in Coalville, New Zealand. With a lifelong passion for golf, Evie's journey as a coach began when she was just 12 years old. She accompanied her father to the driving range and immediately fell in love with the game. This early spark led her to pursue golf lessons and progress through a comprehensive coaching programme in Derbyshire.
Through hard work and dedication, Evie reached County level and ultimately secured a place in a training programme with England Golf. In 2012, she earned a spot at the prestigious University of Birmingham, where she studied Applied Golf Management Studies. Graduating with a 2:1 Bsc, Evie also obtained full PGA status.
Following her graduation in 2015, Evie took the leap and established her own coaching business. Her true passion lies in working with junior and beginner golfers of all ages. Over the years, she has helped numerous children discover the joy of the game. In recognition of her commitment to junior golf, Evie was invited to join the Golf Foundation as an advisor for growing the game in 2018.
Her dedication to junior golf also led her to become a U. S. Kids Tournament director.
Further highlighting her impact in the golfing community, Evie received the U. S. Kids Top 50 award during her trip to the United States in early 2020. She was the only coach in England to be honoured with this prestigious recognition.
In the same year, the PGA also acknowledged Evie's coaching expertise by awarding her Advanced PGA status.
As a coach, Evie's aim is to facilitate her students' understanding of the game. From perfecting putting techniques to mastering course management, she delivers coaching sessions that incorporate video analysis, training aids, and even utilises the Performance Studio at The Golf Centre in Coalville.
Evie boasts an impressive coaching portfolio, serving as an Advanced PGA Professional, Kids Golf Top 50 Coach, Kids Tour Director, TPI Qualified, and Derbyshire County Junior Coach.
