Jamie Brooke, the founder of “Evolve and be strong,” believes that life is too short to spend time mindlessly working out on a treadmill. Instead, he encourages individuals to enjoy and appreciate their bodies. Jamie's motivation to help others stems from his own personal journey of weight loss and body transformation. Having struggled with weight as a child, he lost nearly 3 stone and gained body confidence, which propelled him into exploring various sports and activities, such as boxing, mountain biking, skydiving, martial arts, snowboarding, climbing, football, and most recently, callisthenics.
Jamie's passion for the human body goes beyond physical growth. He completed a Master's degree in Sports Rehabilitation and continuously seeks to expand his knowledge and understanding. His vision is to assist as many people as possible in becoming healthy, lean, and strong through his unique holistic approach. Jamie can provide invaluable insights as he has experienced the challenges of weight loss firsthand and can share his wisdom to prevent others from making similar mistakes.
Jamie's qualifications include a Master's degree in Sports Therapy, certification as a Strength & Conditioning Specialist (NSCA), a degree in Sport and Exercise Science (Applied Exercise Science), a foundation degree in fitness instruction and sports massage therapy, and NVQ levels 2 and 3 in personal training and fitness instructing. He has also undertaken various continued professional development courses in therapy and personal training, such as Anatomy in Motion Finding Centre, Adaptable Polarity, Dynamic Neuromuscular Assessment, Neurokinetic Therapy, and Muscular Energy Techniques.
In terms of personal training and fitness instruction, Jamie is a certified TRX suspension trainer (Level 1), kettlebells instructor (NVQ Level 2), bootcamp instructor (NVQ Level 2), and spinning instructor. It is worth noting that Jamie dislikes spinning, so clients should not expect to see him participating in those classes.
