Excalibur Fencing Club

Excalibur Fencing Club is a fencing school located in Ottawa, offering programs for children and adults of all levels. As a proud partner of Ottawa Fencing, Excalibur Fencing Club is dedicated to developing competitive fencers and providing a supportive and inclusive environment for all members.

Led by Head Coach Paul ApSimon, Excalibur Fencing Club focuses on teaching True Sport principles, prioritizing values such as fairness, excellence, inclusion, and fun. The club's primary objective is to instill these principles in its fencers, with competition and performance coming second.

Located at 233 Main Street on the campus of Saint Paul University, Excalibur Fencing Club offers a convenient location with ample parking options for members and visitors. The club's gym is easily accessible via Main Street, with clear directions provided for easy navigation.

In addition to regular classes and training sessions, Excalibur Fencing Club is a proud participant in the Ottawa Developmental Fencing Circuit (ODFC). This circuit provides beginner and intermediate fencers with the opportunity to participate in local tournaments and events, with a focus on accessibility and inclusivity. Events include Foil, Epee, and Saber competitions for various age groups, with affordable registration fees for participants.
