This year began with a bang! Pete oversaw the New Year's Day rally where nine brave racers tackled not just the choppy waters but also engine and electrical challenges. 🚤 With Launch Marshal Chris Taylor and his safety crew on duty, and Mark "Sambo" Sansom’s briefings focusing on safety, everything ran smoothly. Every boat crossed the finish line safely, leaving everyone eager for the podium results.
Craig Temple-Murray and Mark Hayward celebrated a well-earned victory, with Ben Corser and Zach George in 2nd place, and Toby Read and Will Rowsell rounding out the podium in 3rd. This event showcased EPBSC's perfect blend of thrilling competition and strict safety measures.
Boxing Day was another highlight, featuring a 20-minute rally with 19 fearless competitors in Single Seater T850 powerboats. Chris Taylor again ensured a seamless start, and with a dedicated safety team, the event kicked off with roaring engines and high anticipation. Mark "Sambo” Sansom’s briefings kept safety at the forefront. Even a brief incident couldn't overshadow the rally’s intensity, concluding with everyone’s safe return.
Looking ahead, Pete is excited about the upcoming events lined up by the EPBSC. Powerboat fans, mark your calendars! Join us on the picturesque Exmouth seafront for more heart-pounding events. Your support makes our community vibrant and engaging. See you on the water! 🌊
