Exeter TKD is a renowned Tae kwon do school located in Exeter, UK. Established in 1992 by Mr. Taverner, a 1st Dan Black Belt who trained with GrandMaster Park Jong Soo in Canada, the school is dedicated to teaching authentic Tae kwon do and passing on the knowledge and skills to students of all ages and abilities.
After facing several challenges with other Taekwon-do Associations, Mr. Taverner decided to register Exeter TKD with GrandMaster Rhee Ki Ha and the UKTA (United Kingdom Taekwon-do Association), with affiliation to the ITF (International Taekwon-do Federation). Exeter TKD operates as a non-profit organisation, with all positions being voluntary and all funds being reinvested to support students at area training sessions, gradings, national and international competitions.
