East Gippsland Gymnastics Club is excited to introduce ExploreGym, a brand new program specifically designed for toddlers aged 12 months to 2 years. This program aims to lay the foundations for proficient movement and support the cognitive development of children during their early years.
Designed with crawling or walking toddlers in mind, the ExploreGym classes offer a range of activities to keep them engaged and excited. Each class starts with a fun warm-up game followed by two separate circuits, one featuring beams and tumble trampolines. To keep things fresh and captivating, the activities in the circuits change every two weeks, ensuring that toddlers are always surprised and stimulated.
East Gippsland Gymnastics Club understands the importance of creating a bright, stimulating, and safe space for toddlers to explore and play. That's why our dedicated coaches and parents are always there to guide and assist the toddlers throughout their gymnastics journey.
During the ExploreGym classes, toddlers have the opportunity to develop their gross motor skills through swinging, climbing, balancing, crawling, and jumping. These activities are carefully designed to enhance their physical abilities and promote overall coordination. But it's not just about physical development! Games, songs, and fine motor activities are also integrated into the classes to support language and social development, fostering an engaging and interactive environment.
The ExploreGym classes are 30 minutes long and are held on Tuesdays at 9:45 am & 10:15 am, as well as Wednesdays at 9 am & 9:30 am. To participate, there is a fee of $10 per class, payable as a term fee of $100 for a 10-week term. In addition, a one-time Registration and Insurance fee of $50 is required in Term 1 or upon enrolment.
