Falcon Boat Club is one of the oldest rowing clubs in Oxford, having been founded in 1869. A significant milestone in Falcon's history was the construction of its first-ever clubhouse. In celebration of the club's 150th anniversary in 2019, members set out to secure plans and funding for the clubhouse. Thanks to the incredible efforts of a dedicated group of members, as well as donations from club users, funding bodies, and generous individuals, construction began in September 2020. Additional donations during the building process allowed for the completion of the new clubhouse in March 2023.
The club extends its gratitude to everyone who made this project possible, as the clubhouse serves as an unbelievable facility for both on-water and off-water activities. The official opening took place in September 2022.
