Fierce Gymnastics Club

Fierce Gymnastics Club is a vibrant and dynamic gymnastics club located in Pocklington, York. In January 2020, the club underwent a rebrand and restart under a new and fresh committee of coaches, which has been well-received by both parents and gymnasts.

The club offers a wide range of classes for all ages and abilities. From toddlers learning to walk to adults, there is something for everyone at Fierce Gymnastics Club. The club takes pride in providing a positive and supportive environment for all gymnasts to learn and grow.

At Fierce Gymnastics Club, they have their own dedicated premises that welcome over 250 children each week. The club offers weekly general gymnastics classes for all ages, as well as women's artistic gymnastics (WAG) for those who wish to pursue a more competitive path in gymnastics.

The club's classes cater to different age groups and skill levels. The “Little Stars” class is designed for children aged 4 to 6, offering fun sessions to introduce them to the world of gymnastics. For children aged 7 and above, the “General Gymnastics” class provides one to one and a half-hour sessions that work towards proficiency awards to develop basic understanding and skills in gymnastics.

For those who show exceptional potential, Fierce Gymnastics Club has the “Development Squad” and “Competition Squad” classes. The Development Squad offers two and a half hours of intense training with squad development coaches, allowing children to work towards optional competitions outside the club. The Competition Squad, on the other hand, involves four to five hours of training per week and prepares gymnasts for local and national competitions.

Fierce Gymnastics Club also offers additional services and events, such as holiday clubs, birthday parties, and competitions. The holiday clubs are popular among children, providing exciting activities during the school break. The club's birthday parties offer a super fun experience for children and their friends. The club also holds competitions where gymnasts can showcase their skills and compete against athletes from other clubs.
