The pool itself is designed to meet the specific needs of young swimmers, with dimensions of 12m × 5m and a consistent depth of 1. 3m. Featuring a comfortable temperature of 33 degrees, the pool provides an ideal environment for even the tiniest learners.

The facilities at Fife Swim Centre are designed to enhance the overall experience for both children and parents. A welcoming reception area is equipped with a large screen, allowing parents to relax and observe their child's swimming lessons. Additionally, there are eight changing cubicles, each fitted with a baby change station, ensuring convenience for families. The swim programme at Fife Swim Centre is developed in collaboration with Octotots Swim School, guaranteeing professional and tailored instruction. The programme includes aqua natal yoga for expecting mothers and three core swimming courses designed to build water confidence and technique. These programmes are specifically catered to suit different age groups: Octobumps for pregnant women from the 12th week of pregnancy, Octotots for babies and children aged 0–4 years, Academy for children aged 4-6, and Octokidz for children aged 6 and above. The courses are designed to nurture strong, happy swimmers who are not only confident but also competent in the water.

Fife Swim Centre also offers the convenience of a Customer Portal, accessible through their dedicated app, for existing customers. This portal allows customers to manage their information, including notifying the centre of absences, booking catch-up classes, updating contact details, and more.
