The teaching staff at Fins Swim School come from diverse backgrounds, including former Fins swimmers. All staff members hold a level 2 qualification and receive in-house training from their own STA swimming tutor. Some staff members have also obtained additional certifications, such as Autism Swim, further enhancing their capacity to provide inclusive lessons.

Their range of swimming programmes caters to different age groups and interests. Children aged 3 and above can join fun lessons, with up to 6 children per class. Fins Swim School also offers a unique experience called Mermaids, where participants learn to swim like mermaids, dress like mermaids, and connect with other mermaid enthusiasts. Mermaids is not limited to children only; adults can also join for a mix of skills and fitness, providing a great opportunity to tone up those abs.

However, interested participants must undertake a swim test to assess their swimming ability before joining the mermaid group.

For parents looking to introduce their infants to swimming, Fins Swim School offers gentle, baby-led parent/baby swimming sessions starting from 8 weeks old. Additionally, they provide Rookie lifeguard and their own children's swim fit sessions for those who have outgrown the learn-to-swim programme but want to continue swimming.

Fins Swim School values the importance of maintaining a consistent schedule. They operate during specific hours to accommodate their clients, with availability on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Please note that they are closed on Wednesdays.

To ensure the safety and swimming ability of participants interested in the mermaid activities, Fins Swim School requires individuals to confidently swim at least 25m. It is not recommended for non-swimmers or weak swimmers.
