Fitzpatricks Boxing Gym

Fitzpatrick's Boxing Gym, located at 322A Ferndale Rd, Swindon SN2 1HL, is a professional boxing gym that is open to the public. It is the first of its kind in the UK, offering men, women, and children the opportunity to learn the art of boxing and improve their self-confidence while getting fit.

The gym offers different training sessions for different age groups. Seniors (age 15 and up) can avail of one-hour sessions from Monday to Friday, with start times at 6pm and 7:15pm. The cost is 9 per session or 75 for a package of 10 sessions. One-on-one private coaching with head coach Paddy Fitzpatrick is also available for 75 per session or 600 for 10 sessions (limited availability).

There is also a special offer available, where individuals can attend 2 class sessions and receive 1 private session for 50, saving 35.

Juniors (age 8-14) have their own training sessions on Tuesdays and Fridays, with a start time of 4:30pm until 5:30pm. The cost is 9 per session or 70 for a package of 10 sessions.

Due to the limited capacity per session, the gym cannot offer refunds if individuals are unable to attend.

Fitzpatrick's Boxing Gym prides itself on being a professional gym that aims to develop and prepare boxers for various levels of competition. Whether an individual is training for a four-round debut or a world title fight, they will have access to the same equipment, training methods, and knowledge used by world-class fighters. Sparring is optional, and individuals can focus on developing their self-confidence, discipline, and overall physical fitness.

Core training is also emphasised, as a strong and flexible core is essential for optimal performance in any sport. The head coach of Fitzpatrick's Boxing Gym is Paddy Fitzpatrick, an experienced coach with over 25 years of involvement in the sport. He has worked alongside renowned fighters and trainers, gaining valuable experience and knowledge. Paddy Fitzpatrick's boxing resume includes working with Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach and training Irishman Steve Collins in 1997.
