The club is led by the highly experienced and accomplished instructor, Sensei Richard Stecko MBE. Born and raised in Stoke-on-Trent, Richard has been involved in the martial arts world since his teenage years. He initially trained at various Ju Jitsu clubs in the area and later joined the Ju Jitsu Academy in Biddulph, where he trained under renowned instructors. Richard's commitment to martial arts led him to join the Armed Forces, where he served in the Royal Navy for over 16 years and received the prestigious Member of the British Empire (MBE) award for his outstanding contributions.
At Five Towns Ju Jitsu Ryu, adult martial arts classes are offered to individuals who are interested in discovering the true beauty of Japanese martial arts. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner, the club welcomes students from all backgrounds and fitness levels.
