For the newbies, there’s free tuition at times that suit both the working folks and retirees. And if you’re a seasoned player, there are plenty of experienced members ready to share tips and advice.
Newcomers are encouraged to join in the friendly matches and league games. It’s a great way to get some practice, learn the ropes, and improve your game. Plus, Mike organises one-day tournaments that are seeded, offering a fair and competitive event for all. Mike knows the club's history is worth a mention. Established back in 1937 and moved to its current spot in 1980, the club resides in the Fleming Park Leisure complex on Passfield Avenue. It’s a lovely spot surrounded by greenery with two greens to choose from – one grass and one artificial. The location is convenient with easy access to the M3 and M27, and there’s plenty of free parking.
