FLING Physical Theatre

FLING Physical Theatre is a dynamic youth dance organisation located in the beautiful Bega Valley on the far South Coast of NSW, Australia. Established in 2001, FLING offers an exciting platform for young people to collaborate with both local and visiting professional artists in the creation of original contemporary performance projects.

At the heart of FLING is the FLING Company, consisting of performers aged 14-18. These talented individuals actively participate in the development and presentation of major projects, which have not only toured within the region but also beyond. FLING also operates two younger company programmes, namely YFLING and FLUX Creators, catering to ages 7-14. Additionally, FLING prides itself on delivering a wide range of Community Engagement, Outreach, and Education programmes.

One of the primary objectives of FLING Physical Theatre is to provide a safe and nurturing space for young people to explore and express their creativity. Through movement and performance, participants not only enhance their artistic skills but also develop vital attributes such as creative thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork.
