Flow Martial Arts is a sports club located in Gold Coast that offers a wide range of classes for both adults and children. Our All Levels classes are suitable for individuals of all skill levels and cover the fundamentals of Jiu-Jitsu while introducing new concepts to enhance each student's game. These classes also include timed rolling sessions, allowing students to apply techniques in practical settings.
For beginners, we offer the White Belt Beginners Class, where our experienced coaches warmly welcome individuals who have never trained before. In this class, our coaches will teach all the basics needed to get started in Jiu-Jitsu, and no question is considered too silly to ask. We believe in creating a supportive and inclusive environment for everyone to learn and develop their skills.
If you're interested in a fitness-focused class, our MMA Striking class is designed to improve your fitness, strength, and confidence while learning the technical aspects of punching, kicking, kneeing, and elbowing. Led by former Professional Muay Thai fighter and coach Rex Redden, this class is open to adults aged 18 and older, regardless of their experience level.
For those looking to take their Jiu-Jitsu skills to the next level, we offer Intermediate and Advanced classes. The Intermediate class is designed for blue belts and above, focusing on more advanced concepts and pushing fitness and technique to the next level. The Advanced class is specifically for purple belts and above, allowing students to expand their game and further develop their skills.
We also provide a Masters class for students aged 40 and over, focusing on longevity and training smart. This class is tailored to age-appropriate opponents and aims to help students take care of their bodies and train for life. Students in the Masters class are not limited to training only within their age class and have the flexibility to join other class times as well.
In addition to our adult classes, we offer a Women’s BJJ programme that provides a comfortable and accommodating environment for females from mixed levels of experience and fitness. This programme is a great opportunity to train with other women and further develop your skills in a non-confronting setting.
For children aged 4-7, we have the Flow Turtles class, where our coaches focus on promoting fundamental Jiu-Jitsu skills through the use of games and a fun learning environment. Skills such as balance, coordination, fitness, strength, flexibility, discipline, respect, social skills, and self-defence are emphasised.
For children aged 8-13, we offer the Flow Sharks class, which focuses on teaching fundamental Jiu-Jitsu techniques and strategies tailored to this age group. Our coaches create a safe and supportive environment where children can develop their skills while engaging in physical activities and team sports.
