For under 16's. The Folkestone Voyager can accommodate a maximum of 11 passengers, and we recommend a minimum age of 5 years for these sea trips. All trips are subject to weather and tidal conditions and depart from the Inner Harbour steps in front of the Grand Burstin Hotel.
For those interested in sea angling, Folkestone Voyager offers an exceptional fishing experience. With over 50 years of experience fishing from Folkestone Harbour, we have the knowledge to provide a successful and enjoyable day out on the water. Our start times vary each day due to the tidal nature of the harbour. To ensure ample space for fishing, we limit our angler capacity to a maximum of 8.
During the summer months, we specialise in 8 or 5-hour drift fishing trips over the numerous shipwrecks in the English Channel and Varne Bank. In the winter months, fishing takes place closer to the shore with anchoring off Folkestone and using bait to attract the fish.
For the 2023 summer season, our prices for hiring the whole boat for sea angling are as follows: 2-hour drift fishing trip (including rods/reels and set of lures) costs 225, 5-hour wrecking/drift fishing trip costs 325, and 8-hour wrecking/drift fishing trip costs 450. Additionally, we offer the hire of rod/reel including one set of tackle at a cost of 10 per person if required. For the 2023/24 winter season, our prices are 280 for a 5-hour anchored trip and 380 for an 8-hour anchored fishing trip.
