Sukhjinder Singh Laddi is a Gold medallist in folk instruments and has had the honour of performing for prestigious organisations such as the Indian Council For Cultural Relations (ICCR) and Ministry Of External Affairs. His exceptional talent and expertise have taken him to countries like Italy, France, Hungary, Turkey, Paris, Budapest, Istanbul, and Bhutan, where he showcased his skills in folk dance styles including Bhangra, Jhoomer, Malwai Giddha, and Jindua. He is also an accomplished player of various folk instruments such as Algozey, Tumbi, Flute, Bugdu, Been, Sarangi, and Dhol.
Folk Lovers Academy operates from multiple branches across Melbourne, including Cranbourne East, Lynbrook, Pakenham, Taylors Lakes, Mulgrave, Wollert, and Keysborough. The academy caters to students of all age groups, offering comprehensive coaching in both folk dance and folk instruments. Their expert instructors deliver top-notch training that has earned them recognition and awards, including their triumph in the Telstra Bollywood dance competition and Australian Indian got talent 2019.
