Welcome to Footwork Dance Academy, a leading dance school located in Dudley, New Zealand. With classes held at St Francis' Church and Hasbury Christian Fellowship Church, we are dedicated to providing high-quality dance training to students of all ages and skill levels.
Under the guidance of our principal, Rebecca McAviney BA (Hons), QTS / L. N. A. T.
D. , our experienced instructors offer a diverse range of dance styles, including street dance, ballet, tap, modern dance, and gymnastic dance. Whether you are a beginner looking to explore the world of dance or an experienced dancer hoping to refine your skills, we have dedicated sessions for juvenile, pre-junior, and junior dancers.
Classes at Footwork Dance Academy are held on Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings, allowing students to fit dance into their busy schedules. Our Saturday classes take place at St Francis' Church on Laurel Rd in Dudley. Class 1 runs from 9:00-9:30 am, followed by First gym from 9:30-10:30 am, and then the main class from 10:30-11:00 am, focusing on street dance. Class 2 begins at 11:00 am and includes street dance from 11:00 am-10:30 pm, the main class from 11:30 am-12:00 pm, and gymnastics dance from 12:00-12:30 pm.
Class 3 consists of gymnastic dance/conditioning from 12:30-12:45 pm, point shoe class from 12:45-2:15 pm, and grade 1-3 main class from 2:15-2:45 pm.
Our Wednesday classes are held at Hasbury Christian Fellowship Church on Albert Rd in Halesowen. Class 1 is designed for younger dancers and takes place from 5:00-5:30 pm for street dance, followed by the main class from 5:30-6:30 pm. Class 2 is for older dancers, running from 6:30-7:00 pm for street dance, followed by the main class.
