Forest Youth FC

Forest Youth FC is a renowned amateur youth football club located in Melksham, serving boys and girls from the age of 4 and onwards. We attract players from across west Wiltshire and are proud to be affiliated with Wiltshire FA. Our teams actively participate in the highly competitive Mid Wilts Youth & Minor Football League and the Wiltshire County Womens & Girls League.

As a voluntary-run organisation, we firmly believe that youth football should be all about children enjoying the game they love, with everyone celebrating their accomplishments and achievements. Our primary goal is to provide a nurturing environment where young players can thrive, learn sportsmanship, and develop their skills.

At Forest Youth FC, we highly value the words of Magic Johnson, who once said, “All kids need is a little help, a little hope and somebody who believes in them. ” We strive to be that helping hand and source of encouragement for our young athletes, supporting their growth on and off the field.

A significant part of our success can be attributed to the generous support of our sponsors. Their collaboration enables us to provide our teams with the necessary resources and opportunities to thrive.

Forest Youth FC currently runs several teams catering to different age groups and skill levels. Our U6 Mixed team trains on Saturday mornings, focusing on skill development without active participation in league matches. Newcomers are always welcome, and if you're interested in joining, please reach out to us for more information.

Additionally, our U8 Mixed team competes in the Mid Wilts Youth & Minor Football League, training on Wednesday evenings and playing matches on Saturdays. We encourage you to follow their progress on our social media channels.

Our U14 Youth team, on the other hand, practises on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm to 8pm. They are an integral part of our club's progression, and their dedication and hard work are commendable.

Lastly, our U15 Girls Youth team represents us in the Wiltshire County Womens & Girls League. Their training sessions occur on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm to 8pm. We take immense pride in their accomplishments and encourage young girls interested in football to join their ranks.

As an organisation, we greatly value our volunteer coaches who instil important life lessons such as resilience, teamwork, and determination in our young players.
