Fosshey Stables & Hanoverian Stud was established in 2000 by Ian and Sandra Tinker. Sandra, a highly experienced horsewoman, has competed in various disciplines and now focuses on breeding and raising youngstock. Ian manages the land and yard, ensuring optimal conditions for the horses. In 2004, we began our professional stud and mare services, importing breeding mares from Germany and sourcing semen from top German stallions.
Our main focus is on providing a caring stables and livery service, catering to the individual needs of each horse in our care. We offer full livery services, as well as holiday livery and schooling livery for those looking to improve their horse's skills. We also specialise in holistic services, such as Reiki healing and horse whispering, which promote overall well-being and rehabilitation for horses. In addition to our services, we breed Hanoverian horses for dressage and have a selection of foals and youngstock available for purchase.
With our breeding programme, we carefully select breeding mares and import semen from hand-selected German stallions to produce Hanoverian horses of exceptional quality. Our foals and young stock consistently achieve high scores at the annual Hanoverian Championship and the Futurity Sports Horse Gradings. We offer mare services, including getting your mare in foal and foaling down, with a focus on achieving excellent temperament, type, and movement in our horses.
Fosshey Stables & Hanoverian Stud is currently undergoing extensive rebuilding work to transform our premises into a state-of-the-art equestrian lifestyle centre in Cheshire. We have already completed construction of a new indoor arena and have plans for a 20×60 outdoor arena, crew barns for the youngstock, and a horsewalker. Our vision is to provide a holistic approach to equestrian care and rehabilitation, incorporating services such as Reiki healing and horse whispering into our offerings.
