Welcome to the Free Water Park & Public Play Space, located within The Mill at Moreton Bay in Petrie. This is the first-ever free water park and play space offered by the Moreton Bay Regional Council, perfect for families and children of all ages.
The space boasts two playgrounds designed for both younger and older children, offering a variety of play equipment to keep them entertained. There is also a flying fox for those seeking a thrilling adventure. The highlight of the water park is the splash pad, featuring a water bucket that is sure to provide endless fun for children.
In addition to the play areas, the space offers an extensive green space with a cricket pitch for those who prefer outdoor activities. If you're planning a family gathering or a picnic, there is a sheltered barbecue area available for use.
As this is an open facility, no bookings are required, and park facilities are alcohol and smoke-free. Please note that dogs are not allowed in the playgrounds or water play area, however, they can be walked on leads along the adjacent walking paths. Service animals are permitted in all areas, except for the water play area. Portable LPG gas cylinders and barbecues of any type are not permitted in the park.
The Free Water Park & Public Play Space is conveniently located at 1 Moreton Parade in Petrie, with ample parking available. The space is open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, seven days a week, providing plenty of opportunities for families to enjoy a day of fun and relaxation.
