Fremantle Bowling Club

Fremantle Bowling Club, founded in 1896, is the second-oldest bowling club in the state of Western Australia and the oldest still operating from its original location. Situated near Fremantle Park, it is conveniently located close to the city centre, just 300 metres from the Fremantle Town Hall. The famous Capuccino Strip and other renowned attractions of Fremantle are only a short walk away, making it the perfect place to meet friends and make new ones.

Members and guests of Fremantle Bowling Club have access to ample parking facilities, ensuring convenience for all visitors. The club boasts a beautiful synthetic green along with two outstanding grass greens, making it an ideal spot for bowling enthusiasts. Additionally, Fremantle Bowling Club offers two separate areas that can be hired for functions. The larger hall area can accommodate approximately 190 people, while the more intimate bar lounge can comfortably host up to 60 guests, providing versatility for various event needs.

During the summer pennant season, which usually runs from the end of October to March, the club is open on specific days for various matches and social bowls. Ladies pennant matches take place on Tuesday mornings, while Wednesday afternoons are reserved for pennant practise and social bowls. Men's pennants are played on Thursday afternoons, with Friday afternoons designated for pennant practise and social bowls. Saturday afternoons are dedicated to men's pennant matches, and on Sundays, members can enjoy social bowls in the morning and afternoon sessions.

In the off-season winter months, from April to October, the club offers Drawn Mixed Triples games on Monday afternoons, Jackpot Nominated Triples on Wednesday afternoons, and Nominated Doubles on Saturdays. Fridays are reserved for practise, social bowls, and bar service.
