About
Lasted a lifetime. However, as karate spread across the world, belts were introduced as a way to indicate a practitioner's level of skill and dedication. At “Friendly Eagle,” students progress through a series of belt gradings, starting with white and working their way up to black belt and beyond. Belt gradings are a formal assessment of a student's knowledge, skill level, and attitude towards training.
It is a way to acknowledge their hard work and dedication to the art.
