Frome and District Angling Association

Join the Frome & District Angling Association, based in Wincanton, for top-notch trout and coarse fishing in the Frome area and beyond! Founded in 1931, the club has a vibrant history and is a favourite among local anglers.

With over 400 members, Mike and the team provide plenty of affordable fishing opportunities. Members have access to miles of excellent rivers and still waters, plus exchange tickets with neighbouring clubs. From fly-fishing for trout to river and still water coarse fishing, it’s all available locally.

Membership gets you into 12 club waters and exchange tickets with 14 other local clubs, with discounted rates of up to 80% on commercial waters. Highlights include Wellow Brook, Shearwater Lake, and Somerset Levels Waters – there’s a perfect spot for every angler.

Coarse day tickets for the River Frome are just £6 and can be bought online. Trout fishing is members-only for that special experience.
