Mark Jenkins wishes to extend his gratitude to all friends of Fujian White Crane Kung Fu in Watford. Since 1977, this school has been a pillar in the community, dedicated to the art of Kung Fu and Tai Chi. With over four decades of commitment, they take pride in preserving and sharing classical Chinese martial arts.
The backbone of Fujian White Crane Kung Fu is its team of dedicated instructors, regarded as modern-day teachers, scholars, leaders, and mentors. Their skill and passion ensure students receive the highest quality of training.
The school runs classes both in halls and online, underscoring their adaptive nature. Even during the lockdown, they seamlessly transitioned to online classes, allowing the learning to continue uninterrupted. Now, with in-person sessions resumed, online options remain available for added convenience.
Specialising in White Crane Kung Fu and Suang Yang Tai Chi, the school believes in inclusivity. Mark emphasises that age or fitness level shouldn't deter anyone from starting. The only prerequisites are the ability to breathe and a beating heart, inviting everyone to experience the holistic benefits of martial arts.
Physical training is complemented by a focus on the philosophy and culture of Kung Fu. Mark and his team aim to instil in students a profound understanding and appreciation of the martial arts, recognising them as a way of life, not just a set of movements.
While rooted in tradition, Fujian White Crane Kung Fu embraces modernity. They explore the evolving interpretations of martial arts and the relevance of classical texts such as the Art of War in today's context.
The school also hosts special events and challenges to further engage students. Recently, a press-up training challenge was introduced, providing a platform for members to enhance their technique and strength, whilst fostering a sense of community.
Fujian White Crane Kung Fu's reputation for excellence is well-earned. Their commitment to preserving classical Chinese martial arts and offering outstanding instruction sets them apart. Whether training in person or online, students can expect a supportive environment that promotes growth in both mind and body.
