This partnership allows FCS players to access a world-class development programme created by MPFC Founder and Head Coach, Saul. The programme, which is used by current Barcelona, England, premier League, Football League, and PRO CLUB Academy players, can be accessed and worked on from home.
Fylde Coast Soccer believes that integrating Saul's technical excellence programme into their coaching curriculum will rapidly elevate their players' skills to another level.
The club takes pride in seeing the hard work of its players being rewarded, and it is always delighted to see them scouted by professional clubs. Recently, FCS players have had the opportunity to train with English football's most successful clubs, Liverpool and Manchester United, as well as Fleetwood Town FC.
Fylde Coast Soccer's Development Group was recently invited to attend a training session with Liverpool FC coaches at the Liverpool FC Academy base in Kirkby. Many players took up this fantastic opportunity and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
The club also celebrates the achievements of its younger teams, such as the U9 Maradonas and Ronaldinhos, who qualified for the PDPL Xmas Cup Finals Day. The players showed great determination and talent, with the Ronaldinhos having to go to a penalty shootout to secure their place in the finals.
Three players from Fylde Coast Soccer Academy have signed their first-ever contracts with Fleetwood Town FC Academy. These players have been part of the Fylde Coast Soccer Academy since its launch, with two of them being regular Fylde Coast 1-2-1 clients. The club is proud of their desire to improve and wishes them the best in their academy football journey.
Fylde Coast Soccer is also excited to announce that they have successfully completed the affiliation process with Lancashire FA, becoming an official grassroots football club. This means that FCS can now enter teams into local leagues from school year 2 to u18 level.
