Retire, I decided to continue sharing my knowledge and skills with others through Gaia School of Yoga & Flow of Life.
At Gaia School of Yoga, Jilda Liddicut, the founder and lead instructor, brings over 40 years of experience in the field of yoga and holistic health. She has taught at various schools and universities in Adelaide, Sydney, and New England, as well as worked as a Therapeutic Masseuse at Body Care in South Yarra. Jilda's passion for yoga and natural movement has been present since her earliest years, and she incorporates this love for natural dance into her teachings.
Jilda's approach to teaching is centred around directing people's awareness and attention towards their interdependence with nature. She believes in the power of yoga, meditation, relaxation, and therapeutic massage to restore balance in the body, mind, heart, and soul. Whether working with a group or an individual, Jilda intuitively understands and responds to their specific energy and needs. She offers appropriate yoga instruction, guidance, and hands-on treatments like yoga massage or heavenly head massage to address concerns and stress levels.
With her extensive experience, Jilda has taught yoga and restorative practises to people of all ages and backgrounds, including educators, students, artists, business people, athletes, individuals with disabilities, and those with compromised health. She has acquired a vast array of yoga, therapeutic, and life skills that allow her to cater to the unique needs of each client. Jilda's mission is to help her clients ease their hearts as they unwind, strengthening their body, breath, and mind.
Despite contemplating retirement, Jilda realised the immense value of her experience and knowledge in helping relieve the suffering she has witnessed in the world. With a deep commitment to ahimsa (harmlessness), reflected in her vegetarian and essentially vegan lifestyle, she chose to continue teaching and guiding others towards peace, well-being, and a deeper understanding of themselves and their connexion to nature.
Whether you're a beginner looking to explore yoga or a dedicated practitioner seeking to go deeper, Gaia School of Yoga & Flow of Life offers both group and private sessions.
