The co-owner, David 'Dai' Palmer, has a rich background in fitness and athleticism. Raised in the Welsh Valleys, Dai's passion for running was nurtured from a young age. He later joined the British Army and completed seven operational tours, where he improvised with limited gym equipment.
After leaving the Army, Dai became the Head of Physical Education at a London Grammar School and discovered CrossFit. This experience led him to establish Gas Station Fitness and Nutrition, which has since grown into one of the largest independent fitness facilities in the South-East. Dai firmly believes that everyone can achieve incredible fitness and health with the right motivation.
Co-owner Lisa Palmer complements Dai's expertise as a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist. She offers rehabilitation assessment and advice clinics to members and works closely with the coaches to ensure that every individual receives optimal training benefits. Lisa's priority is to ensure that members move well, avoid injury, and see results. When she's not at the gym, Lisa manages the administration team, works for the NHS, and takes care of their two children.
