The swimming club at George Bolton Swimming Centre Burnside in Adelaide is excited to announce an upcoming local swimming event that is sure to make a big splash! Situated at the corner of Greenhill Rd & Howard Tce in Hazelwood Park, this community swimming facility is the perfect place to dive in and enjoy a day of fun and competition.
With its main lap pool, learners' pool, and toddlers' pool, George Bolton Swimming Centre Burnside offers something for everyone, no matter their age or swimming ability. And it's not just about the water here – this facility has it all. With a café/kiosk, playgrounds, barbecues, change rooms, and meeting rooms, it's a place where you can relax and unwind with your friends and family.
The centre is now open for the 2023/24 season, ready to welcome anyone who is eager to take a dip. And if the temperature exceeds 35º C at 5 pm, you're in luck! The centre will remain open for an extra hour, so you can continue to enjoy the water under the summer sun. Just keep in mind that pools will be cleared of patrons 10 minutes before closing time, so plan your swim accordingly.
While we all love to swim, safety is our top priority at George Bolton Swimming Centre Burnside. That's why we are proud to be a Watch Around Water Endorsed Pool, ensuring the well-being of all our visitors. Whether you're taking part in our Swim School program for children aged 12 months to adults, joining one of our lap swimming sessions, or looking to improve your swimming strokes through our adult programs such as Adult Beginners, Level 2, Stroke Correction, or Seniors Swimming, you can trust that you're in good hands with our experienced staff and lifeguards.
